Celebrating 40 Years!
Located on the 13.2 miles of the historic Kansas Route 66, the Galena Mining and Historical Museum is housed in the old Missouri-Kansas-Texas “MKT” train depot.
Inside the museum, you will find mining and railroad memorabilia, along with a vast mineral collection, many items of local history, vintage Model T & A Fords, plus so much more.
Outside there is a train engine, caboose, army tank, helicopter, and tons of mining equipment.
You will find something to catch everyone’s interest.
